Yesterday I spent 2.8 hours flying this RV-7A from Gillespie Field (San Diego) to Ramona Airport, and Brown Field (a stone throw away from Mexico) and back to Gillespie. We also did stalls, slow flight, and other items pertaining to this type of plane. This plane is not like those Cessna’s that I am accustomed too. This morning I did another 2 hours and I am now ready to fly my own RV-7A. I think that momentous event will take place sometime next week. The instructor was Reuven Silberman. If you need training in Southern California I would recommend him.
